A shared promise to delay smartphones
I commit to delaying a personal smartphone for my child until at least the end of middle school, focusing on age-appropriate tech and healthy digital habits.
I will talk with my child about online safety, model mindful tech use at home, and connect with other families so we can set consistent expectations together.
I will revisit this pledge each school year, adapting as my child grows while keeping well-being ahead of convenience.
